      Specialist of Education with a major in Curriculum and Instruction

      The Specialist of Education with a major in Curriculum and Instruction program is designed for experienced educators who hold a T-5 certificate (or comparable out-of-state) or higher.

      Specialist of Education in Instructional Technology 

      Bagwell College of Education

      The Specialist of Education in Instructional Technology is fully online and designed for educators who currently hold or aspire to hold a technology leadership position at the school, district, or state level.  The Ed.S. is intended to deepen and broaden the educational technology leadership knowledge and skills of candidates.  The program is based on the ISTE Standards for Technology Directors and the CoSN Framework of Essential Skills for K-12 CTOs.

      Specialist of Education in Educational Leadership

      Bagwell College of Education

      The 27-hour Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) in Educational Leadership degree is a performance-based program for educators. You must hold a Tier I Standard Educational Leadership certificate but do not have a specialist or doctoral degree and are pursuing clear, renewable leadership certification in Georgia (Tier II).

      The program offers extensive opportunities for you to apply your knowledge and skills in educational leadership settings. Following the successful completion of the program and state assessments, you will be eligible for the Tier II Educational Leadership certification in Georgia. You can complete the Educational Leadership degree in as few as three semesters.

      Bagwell College of Education

      With the Education Specialist Degree in Secondary and Middle Grades Education, you will develop in-depth knowledge and skills to implement in your classrooms and schools in ways that advance all student's rights to an education that supports social and economic justice and academic success.

      You will experience courses that focus on technology, learner-centered curriculum and instruction, learners and families from diverse backgrounds, and critical pedagogy that will aid you in meeting these crucial needs.
