Bachelor of Applied Science with a major in Information Technology
Program Information
The Bachelor of Applied Science with a major in Information Technology is designed for students who have an Associate of Applied Science in computing from a member institution of the Technical College System of Georgia. The courses that you have completed for your AAS will transfer as a block, and you will be required to take an additional 80 credit hours (or approximately 3 years of full-time study) to obtain the BAS degree.
The primary aim of the BASIT is identical to the Bachelor's of Science in Information Technology, namely to prepare students for progressively more responsible positions in the field of Information Technology, including positions that are supervisory or managerial in nature.
