Course Technology Requirements
Students can access commonly-required software from KSU's University Information Technology Services (UITS) department. You'll find available software at the links below:
Please note, these two links are password protected sites that can only be accessed by individuals with a KSU NetID and password.
Common Course Technologies
- Adobe Acrobat Reader: Students are encouraged to download Adobe Acrobat Reader.
- JAVA: Some of the online courses at KSU utilize SoftChalk Content Management Software, which requires JAVA to operate efficiently. Students are encouraged to download JAVA.
- Office 365: KSU is an Office 365 (O365) school. Students can access O365 directly through Kennesaw State University resources.
Any course-specific technologies along with instructions on how to download, access, and/or install them will be provided in your Course Syllabus.
It is recommended that you have a device with a camera and microphone for participating in synchronous class meetings, online office hours, or advisement sessions. Devices may include mobile devices, laptops with integrated cameras, or desktop computers with associated webcams and microphones.
