Paying for Your Education

  • Tuition for online courses at Kennesaw State University is the same regardless of a student's residency status:

    • Undergraduate online courses have an e-tuition rate of $185.40 per credit hour ($556.20 for a 3-credit hour course).
    • Graduate online courses are charged an e-tuition rate of $383.00 per credit hour ($1,149.00 for a 3-credit hour course). 


    Fees for online students are reduced. Online students pay only the Institutional and Technology fees, while all Student Services and Parking Permit Fees are waived. Additionally, students taking fully online semesters and not living on campus are exempt from the mandatory meal plans.

      Books, Course Materials, Supplies, & Equipment $750

      Loan Fees $32.50

      Personal Expenses $1,830

      Food $2,273.50

      On-Campus Housing $4,240

      Transportation $944.50

       

      * Please note: undergraduate students living off campus in Kennesaw have a housing estimate of $5,184. Undergraduates living off campus in Marietta have a housing estimate of $4,565. Undergraduate students living with parents will have a housing estimate of $1260.50. Students living off campus have a transportation estimate of $1,410.50. These costs are just estimates and not all students will be charged for all listed costs.

      * Please note: graduate students living on campus have a housing estimate of $4,240 and a transportation estimate of $944.50. Graduate students who live with parents will not have a housing estimate. Some premium-priced programs include books, course materials, supplies, and equipment components as part of the overall program cost. These costs are just estimates and not all students will be charged for all listed costs.

  • Not usually. Books, materials, supplies, technology, course-specific fees, and any other costs are the responsibility of the student, but some courses do utilize free or low-cost materials. 

  • Yes! Online students have access to the same financial aid opportunities as on-campus students, including using the HOPE Scholarship, other scholarships, grants, loans, and work study opportunities.
