KSU Online

How it Works

Orientations at Kennesaw State are for students that have been ACCEPTED to the university.

On-Campus Students taking Online Courses

Welcome to Kennesaw State University!
If you are planning to take a combination of online and on-campus courses, please visit Orientation Services to register for an On-Campus New Student Orientation at http://sss.kennesaw.edu/orientation

Online Program Students

If you have been ACCEPTED to Kennesaw State University and plan to enroll in one of our Online Programs, please register for the Web Learners Program. The Web Learners Program is for students that will take only online courses.

Students requiring learning support courses will not be eligible for the Web Learners program until all LSP courses have been satisfied and they are in good academic standing.

A Virtual Orientation is available for students enrolled as Web Learners. It is housed in the Desire2Learn learning management system. During Virtual Orientation, you will discover important online resources, as well as information needed to achieve success and prepare for entry into the degree program of your choosing. Through video introductions, you will meet faculty, staff and other students who are passionate about welcoming you to KSU-Online.

Upon successful completion of the Virtual Orientation course with a minimum score of 70%, you will receive Academic Advising information and a Registration time ticket request will automatically be forwarded to the Registrar. Department advisors will be able to answer program questions and assist in planning your course schedule.

Please visit the Office of Orientation and Transition Programs and Register for KSU Virtual Orientation.
